This is a black and white print of the horse called Danburn. He belonged to Vincent M. Reed. A student at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Country School at Chester Springs sculpted this horse while staying in the Reed barn and taking meals with the Reed family. The sculpted horse has been gifted to the Moore Archives by owner Margaret Walker and she has now given us the photograph of the horse. The artist is unknown.

This is a photo of Mary Graden Norris Moffet with her painting of herself as a child taken on her visit to HYS. She brought a painting done by an artist at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Summer School at Chester Springs. She came her as a child to stay with an aunt and uncle and served as a model for the artists. Included is a brief oral history from Mary describing her time at Yellow Springs.
