The Bodo Otto family had a plaque made to commemorate their ancestor's contribution to the Revolutionary War. It was the intent to display this plaque at Valley Forge Park but a request is made to display it at Historic Yellow Springs until the arrangement could be worked out with the Park. This was achieved. Dedication program when plaque was installed at Washington Memorial Chapel , June 25, 2006

His descendants maintain a very active association and continue the geneaology research which is often included in the newsletters.
