2010.500.001 - Coat
This is a Civil War soldier's coat belonging to the Moore family and donated to HYS by James and Joan Moore. They state that the coat belonged to the family of Col. Richard Oakford. Oakford died at Antietam and belonged to the 132nd PA Volunteers. They are not sure which family member actually wore the coat. He commanded the 15th Regiment .
