It was also called the Buttonwood Inn because the trees surrounding it were called Buttonwoods. Also a film called Buttonwood Inn was made here by GNP. This particular picture has two trees in front of it. Also shows the entry way into the Washington Building.

    This folder contains the documents re claims filed by Sarah Kennedy and Samuel Culbertson for damages and loss during the Revolutionary War. Culbertson leased the spa property from Kennedy and sought damages to his business due to the Revolutionary War Hospital being built there.
