This beautifully emboxxed photo album contains photos of orphans and teachers at the Chester Springs Soldiers' Orphan School. Some have names written on them most are unidentified. Mrs. Lane's relative, Profesor John H. Smith, was manager of the school in 1890 and collected the photos.
