2011.500.001 - Sculpture
This is a plaster horse sculpture. The plaster is covered with a brown substance that could be paint. It stands on an oval base. The sculpture was given to Margaret Walker. It was produced by John Hoppe, a student at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Country School at Chester Springs in 1941 and given to the Vincent M. Reed family in whose barn the student lived. The Reeds gave it to Ms. Walker.
