This is a paint box that belonged to Albert Van Nesse Greene, artist from PAFA and lived and worked in Chester Springs, PA. His paint tubes and brushes are in the Weber Academy Oil Color Painting Outfit (box of oil paints) as well as a cloth and two small pastels on sand paper. Along with the paint box is Greene's palette with a mixture of paint colors in a decorative style. |

Having studied in various places, he eventally made his home on PIkeland Road in Chester Springs and lived his life here painting and doing pastels. He died here. |
